Bear One Another’s Burdens: Part 1.
I read this and thought these were great verses to post. Galatians 6:1-10:
6:1 Brothers, [1] if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. 5 For each will have to bear his own load.
6 One who is taught the word must share all good things with the one who teaches. 7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
On the first and second verse it says if anybody is found in ANY transgression that you should try help him transform into the spirit of gentleness but be careful about yourself to or you will be tempted. If we do this we are fulfilling the law of Christ. So if we must try to help others in our faith but also in ours because we our not perfect either. Here is a verse that almost just fits right to these verses: Matthew 7:1-5:
7:1 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.
Is that not what we do so very often? Do we not just tell somebody else not to do something then we just go and do it ourselves. It just shows how much of a hypocrite we are. So before you go to somebody else and try to help them, you should clean yourself in the same way, than go to the other person.
On verse three ( which is funny) it shows that we are not something but we are nothing according to verse three:
3 for if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. This just shows that we are just nothing and that when we do think we are something that we are being prideful.
Now on verses 4-5 it says…
4 But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. 5 For each will have to bear his own load.
Help other but also test yourself. You have problems, I have problems, Everybody on earth has problems. So work with those problems, and work with other peoples problems to, if the same problem you have is also worked out with Christ. It says that each person has their own load to take.
So, what are you going to do if somebody else is facing problems? What are you going to do about your problems?
Now, if you have the same problem you can work on it together but, not withought Christ. But if you cannot try to help another person come to Christ, pray even if you do, always pray.
If you have any adds or questions or whatever, please feal free to tell me. Their will be a part 2 on the other 5 verses.
